Our Land: Montefalco

Montefalco is our inspiration.

Beating heart of Umbria, Montefalco is much more than a place: it is a soul, an identity, a unique terroir.
Our winery was born here, in the Village of San Marco, historically recognized as one of the most suitable Crus for viticulture in the area. It is among these hills, between ancient rows and Apennine breezes, that we cultivate our vision of wine every day.

Montefalco: land of history and vineyards
Montefalco, often called “the balcony of Umbria” for its dominant position over the Umbrian valley, is a land that has always been linked to wine. Here, native vines such as Sagrantino and Trebbiano Spoletino find their maximum expression thanks to a favorable microclimate, soils rich in minerals, and a long farming tradition made of respect, listening and skilled work.

The wines of Montefalco are today a point of reference for those seeking authenticity and depth in a glass. And at the center of this vineyard landscape is San Marco, a small patch of land that has held extraordinary potential for generations.

San Marco: a Cru, a legacy to cultivate

We chose San Marco not only for its beauty, but for its historic viticultural vocation. Here, the soil is calcareous-clayey, with ideal exposures and strong temperature variations that give intensity, freshness and longevity to the wines. Each plot is cared for in detail to enhance the characteristics of the soil and the vine, in a constant dialogue between man and nature.

Our commitment: giving voice to the terroir

We believe that wine should tell where it comes from. This is why we work with an artisanal, sustainable and respectful approach, in the vineyard as in the cellar. We do not chase trends: we follow the rhythm of the seasons, we indulge the peculiarities of each vintage and we let the terroir guide every choice.

In our glass there is the story of an ancient land, made of sun, wind, stone and silence. A territory that never ceases to surprise us and that every year teaches us something new.
